We have a new addition to The Apt! Introducing Maya, a 4 pound, champion bread, pomeranian puppy. My roommate brought her over Christmas Eve, right as I was packing to go home--talk about a surprise Christmas gift!
Although I'm more of a hound dog girl myself, I have grown to be good pals with Maya, when she's not trying to bite my roomie's or my hands off! Having a puppy around brings back so many memories of Brandy and Marcus when they were pups, and Maya helps me to forget a little of how much I miss them. It's great being an aunt again to an adorable puppy!
Other than the puppy stories, my life is about the same. Working 7 days a week at Gap/interning, trying to make my way up the ladder. My new internship is seriously the polar opposite of the first one--very calm, relaxing, nice people, and not a whole lot to do so far. Apparently I finish all the projects they give me too fast, so I'm hoping my speediness will inspire them to give me more challenging roles.
For now, I will continue begin fabulous at my job, playing with Maya, and planning for my own puppy (basset hound, of course) in the near (distant) future.
Until next time, Upper East Siders.
xoxo,
Ms. Manhattan
