We all know that my life revolves solely around my TV shows, and this year is no exception. I have watched and critiqued all shows worth watching so that you can skip the shows that ended up sucking and become obsessed with the ones I am. With some loses already (RIP A to Z), I am confident the remainder of my list is here to stay. Read below to see what shows you should forget, which shows you should give a chance, and which shows you should already have been watching.
My TV Schedule (Disclaimer: I do not have a TV and therefore I don't actually watch these shows on these days, or any shows live...)
Sundays
Once Upon a Time: Although sometimes cheesy, always amazing.
Revenge: Revenge started out a little slow, but I promise it's worth it. It's like Gossip Girl with adults, and Emily Thorne is finally Queen. This season has been so emotional, I've even almost shed a tear (almost).

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: I discovered this show over the summer, and have been obsessed since. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for an NJB, but Andy Samberg's misfit team of cops is the possibly the funniest sitcom on TV. I literally LOL when watching, so you know it's worth a try.
Mulaney: Sometimes my love for SNL clouds my judgement, but I really really root for this show every episode. It has it's funny moments, but the adorable John Mulaney cannot hold a show together with an awkward cast. I think if it wasn't trying so hard to be Seinfeld, it would be really funny.
Mondays
The Big Bang Theory: This show is literally never ending, so if you don't start watching now, you're going to have a lot to catch up on.
Gotham: This new series about a not-really prequel of Batman started off slow, but I am absolutely obsessed with it now. Definitely one of the best new shows this fall.
The Originals: If you're not a TVD fan, I pity you. This is the best spinoff of a TV show ever, thanks to the brilliant writers of TVD and their mind-blowing plot twists.

Tuesdays
New Girl: I loved this show the first season, but the writing has gone so downhill since then that this show it's even funny anymore. I still watch in hopes that this show will come back, but I'm not that hopeful.
Selfie: Everyone made it seem like this show would be the best new show ever. I watched the first few episodes, but the main character is so excruciatingly annoying that I can't even catch on to the jokes that are apparently in it.
The Flash: If the first 10 minutes didn't hook you, something is definitely wrong with your brain. I wasn't sure how a superhero show would work out as opposed to a movie, but it's clear that the writers for The Flash are full of ideas and plot twists to keep it going for a long time. If you're not watching this yet, don't worry, you only have a few episodes to catch up on--and I promise you'll be hooked.

Wednesdays
Modern Family: If you aren't already watching this show, something is wrong with you.
Red Band Society: I tried watching this show, but it is too sad and depressing to think about.
The Goldbergs: Yes, I was again manipulated by the fact that this is a show about a lovable Jewish family in the 80s, but even the goys will understand all the jokes (since they never actually admit that they are Jewish). But regardless, this show not only hilarious, but based on the creator's real life. So much so that he shows a clip and pictures of the real life event that inspired the episode--pretty cool.

Thursdays (TGIT)
Scandal: If you aren't watching Scandal yet, make sure you have cleared you schedule. Because once you start this show, you will not be able to stop until you finish. This is a show you will not be able to just watch one episode of, but it will change you forever.
Project Runway: Even though this show is no way real, I still love judging all of the fashion on the show, and secretly loving Zac Posen on it (although no one can replace Michael Kors). The latest season just ended, but unlike most reality shows, Project Runway always has a backup each season, so you can start watching All Stars while we patiently wait. Although be warned, all of the all stars are terrible this season...not everyone can be an All Star, Project Runway.
How to Get Away with Murder: Unless you live under a rock, you already know the incredible reviews for this show and are either obsessed like I am, or fighting the urge to watch--which you will inevitably lose.
The Vampire Diaries: My first binge watched show, TVD has never stopped surpassing my expectations. If only they could stop with this Delena nonsense and go back to what really matters--Stelena.
A to Z: This was my favorite new sitcom this season, but NBC has already reportedly shut down production and cut their episodes, most likely to cancel it. A to Z is the cutest romantic comedy show, and I will be so upset if it's really cancelled. I thought it might be weird at first to watch Tracy McConnell and Henry Ginsburg in another show, but they are magical together. I just hope NBC will see that too. #SaveAtoZ

Fridays
America's Next Top Model: Yes I still watch this show, and Tyra is literally a genius for adding men into the competition. I applaud you Tyra, for being the true phoenix and always finding a way to be relevant.
Shark Tank: If you don't watch Shark Tank it's okay, but if you want a good laugh at some of the dumb ideas people really think will sell, this is the show for you. It's also cool to see some people's dreams come true and make their business happen, I guess.

Saturdays
Saturdays are reserved for one thing and one thing only: SNL. I don't care if you don't think it's funny anymore, you are missing history happen. Tina Fey's skits weren't all hilarious, but look at her now. We missed out on great Andy Samberg moments because the show wasn't "good" anymore. And we all know Kenan is going to leave if we don't keep supporting SNL. So what if all of the ladies on the show are terrible (Cecily, Kate, I'm talking to you), one day Lorne Michaels might come back to reality and start hiring funny people again. And when he does, you don't want to be a fair-weather fan.

Spring Shows
It hurt my heart a little that Mad Men, Parks and Rec, and probably The Challenge (although we never know because MTV is terrible), won't be here until the spring. But it's okay, because at least the tears I will have at the finales are far, far away. And this gives you all ample time to binge all seasons of Mad Men and Parks & Rec, because you will not want to miss out on the ends.
Also, Glee is ending in the spring, hallelujah! I have never seen a show crash and burn so many times in a row, but I am more than happy to see it put out of its misery soon. My only regret is knowing Lea Michele had to go down with it. She's still gold in my eyes.

Hope this helps you decide which shows are worth your time, and which are just hours wasted. It may seem like a lot, but if I can do it, you certainly can.
